The Weekender firmly believes that it is important for young Blacks to traverse the world to find out who they are and where they belong. Too often Black Americans are closed out of amazing places because of lack of historical inclusion and systematic oppression that keeps them confined to the same mundane places, and this is what sparked The Weekender to create a platform making travel affordable and attainable for young Black professionals.
